Hello, Good morning everyone
Let's begin to our 2nd meditation type that is Concentration meditation.
This is usually very beneficial to students who want to gain Concentration on studies.
Remember, concentration meditation is about training your mind to focus and sustain attention. It's normal for your mind to wander; the practice lies in gently bringing your attention back each time.
Concentration meditation involves focusing your mind on a single point of reference, such as your breath, a mantra, or an object. Here's a basic steps to get started:
Find a Quiet Space: Choose a quiet environment where you can sit comfortably without distractions.
Sit Comfortably: Sit in a comfortable position with your spine erect but relaxed. You can sit on a cushion or chair.
Choose Your Point of Focus: Select a focal point. This could be your breath (such as the sensation of air entering and leaving your nostrils), a mantra (a word or phrase repeated silently), or an object (like a candle flame or a visualized image).
Begin Your Session: Close your eyes gently or gaze softly at your chosen object. Start by taking a few deep breaths to relax.
Focus Your Attention: Direct your attention fully to your chosen focal point. Notice the sensations, sounds, or thoughts that arise without judgment, and gently bring your focus back to your focal point when your mind wanders.
Maintain
Consistency: Start with a short session (5-10 minutes) if you're new to meditation, gradually increasing the duration as you become more comfortable.
Practice Regularly: Consistency is key. Aim to practice concentration meditation daily, ideally at the same time each day, to develop your focus and mental clarity.
End Mindfully: When you're ready to finish, gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Take a moment to reflect on how you feel before resuming your activities.
I guaranteed sure that you will get the change in your life. π
